The Faculty is the oldest in Russia in the field of marine transport management. The Faculty provides training in the speciality “Business of shipping operations and (water) transport management”, offering training in the following specializations: “Management of transport systems” and “Management of Sea Transport”. It also offers bachelor’s degree in “Management” and “Economics”.      In the course of study process the cadets master operational, management and economical subjects, which enable them to achieve high level of competence in the following fields: multimodal transportation and transport logistics, organization and management of sea transport, foreign trade operations and their transport support, legal and commercial aspects of transport operation, transportation policy and strategic management.        The Faculty graduates work in shipping, stevedoring, broker, surveyor, agents and forwarding companies, in the transport departments of foreign trade companies and other enterprises dealing with foreign trade transportation.         High level of training at the Faculty and specifics of the profession ensure complete demand for graduates at the labor market. The demand is guaranteed by intensive development of the transport complex of the North-West of Russia, including commissioning new ports in the Gulf of Finland, reconstruction of currently operating sea cargo terminals, development of new transport corridors. The graduates of the Faculty of International Transport Management are looking into the future with confidence. The course of education and training lasts for five years.
